Beyond Chaos

Why Growth Destroys What It Creates and How Covenant Governance Sustains Firms in the AI Age

Every high-growth firm eventually consumes the culture that made growth possible. Beyond Chaos argues that this is not an operational failure but a structural inevitability — and offers a governance answer. Drawing on two decades of case work across hospitality, capital markets, and AI-native firms, Dr. Tong Yin develops the framework of Covenant Governance: a system of binding commitments between founders, capital, operators, and the enterprise itself that survives the phase transitions growth forces on every organization. The book covers management debt, dynamic driver replacement, the failure modes of scaling, and why AI accelerates the destruction curve rather than reversing it.

The Vertical Frontier

Why Mid-Sized Nations Must Abandon Industrial Mediocrity for Strategic Tourism

Mid-sized economies (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Morocco) are trapped in a strategic middle: too small to win in advanced manufacturing at scale, too large to survive on commodity tourism. The Vertical Frontier proposes an alternative — strategic verticalism — the deliberate sovereign build-out of tourism as an integrated national vertical: visitor identity, distribution, pricing intelligence, sovereign AI, cross-border infrastructure. The book uses the semiconductor industry as its analogical anchor and reads the tourism stack from GDP contribution down to the last piece of code that touches a booking.

Core Code

A New Theory of Human Capital Inimitability for the AI Era

As AI compresses the value of codified skill toward zero, what remains uniquely human — and durably valuable inside a firm? Core Code proposes a general theory of human capital inimitability built on three propositions: (1) skill is imitable and therefore commodifying; (2) capability is compositional and therefore firm-specific; (3) judgment is contextual and therefore uninscribable in a model. The book maps the boundary between what AI captures and what it cannot, and offers a framework for organizational design that concentrates value in the uninscribable layer — the core code that AI cannot read.

The Home Model

The Only Management Moat AI Cannot Cross

Management theory has cycled through Taylorism, HR, culture, engagement, and OKRs — each generation promising to solve the same problem: how do you make people show up as more than their contracted labor? The Home Model proposes that the answer is architectural, not motivational. When an organization is engineered so that its members experience it as a home — a place with belonging, continuity, ritual, memory, and reciprocal obligation — the resulting productive surface is not decomposable into tasks and therefore not automatable by AI. The book codifies the Home Model as a management doctrine with seven architectural principles and diagnoses why every past management fad ultimately failed to deliver it.

Active Demand Sovereignty

Rebuilding Tourism as a Strategic Vertical in the Age of AI

Passive demand — the flow of visitors who arrive because a destination is famous — has been the dominant business model of global tourism for half a century. Active demand — the ability of a sovereign or firm to shape, price, and route visitor flows in real time — is the new frontier. Active Demand Sovereignty argues that in the AI era, the destinations that own their demand curve will out-earn those that merely receive it, and that owning the demand curve requires a specific technological, institutional, and cultural stack. The book maps that stack for national tourism boards, sovereign investors, and large hospitality operators.

Intellectual Sovereignty

National Strategy, Educational Reconstruction, and Civilizational Evolution in the AI Era

When large language models mediate an ever-larger share of how a nation's citizens learn, decide, and remember, whoever owns the models effectively owns the nation's mind. Intellectual Sovereignty makes this argument in full: it defines the concept, maps the current sovereignty deficit across G20 economies, and proposes a program of educational reconstruction that trains the next generation to think alongside AI without being written by it. The book is written for policy makers, educators, and civilizational thinkers who understand that intellectual sovereignty is now as consequential as monetary or energy sovereignty — and structurally harder to recover once lost.

Knowledge Creation

A Theory of Knowledge Evolution and Civilizational Progress — Volume I of the Knowledge Creation Theory

Civilizations do not advance because information accumulates. They advance because living knowledge continues to evolve. Living knowledge is knowledge that stays in contact with reality — born from real problems, tested by real practice, corrected by real evidence, and carried forward by real institutions. When that contact breaks — when theory drifts free of practice, when measurement replaces meaning, when incentives reward citation over contribution — knowledge stops being alive. Knowledge Creation develops Reality-Driven Knowledge Evolution (RDKE), a framework that treats knowledge as a living system to be cultivated rather than a static object to be stored. The book maps a spiral, not a loop, and argues that the ultimate test of any body of knowledge is neither elegance nor citations but contribution to human flourishing.

The Long Winter of Civilizations

Decline, the Sieve, and the Coming Rebirth — A Theory of the Historical Spiral

Civilizations move in spirals, not straight lines and not circles. They decline through the accumulation of complexity, elite overproduction, and the erosion of solidarity — the mechanism Ibn Khaldun called the loss of 'asabiyyah', Spengler read as the transition from culture to mere civilization, and Toynbee described as suicide by the failure of the creative minority. The Long Winter of Civilizations reads today's simultaneous decline of the 1945 order across G7 economies as one full winter of that spiral. But winter is a sieve: it sorts out the fragile and prepares the ground for a new elite whose legitimacy is grounded not in bloodline, connection, or inherited position, but in demonstrated capability. The book maps the anatomy of decline, the machinery of stagnation, the global synchrony of the current winter, the sieve mechanism, and the shape of the rebirth already visible at the margins.

Subduing Without Fighting

Applications in the AI Era — A Modern Reconstruction of Sun Tzu's Highest Strategy, a Twelve-Dimensional Rendering from National Strategy to Business Competition

The most famous nine characters in Sun Tzu's Art of War — and the most deeply misread. This book reconstructs "subduing the enemy without fighting" as a rigorous, actuarially definable, twelve-dimensionally deployable methodology for civilizational continuity: a three-variable model (Strategic Dimension Set S — twelve dimensions at the national level, eight at the corporate level; Catch-Up Time Upper Bound T* — critical threshold beyond one generation, 25+ years; Feasible Strategy Set F — the end-state in which "initiate conflict" is actively removed from the adversary's own calculus), the Multi-Dimensional Deterrence Matrix beyond single-dimension MAD, and cross-generational maintenance as the key to steady state — in an AI era where the stability window of a generational gap has compressed from 40 years to 12–24 months. Approximately 84,000 Chinese characters and 41,700 English words, bilingual complete editions. It integrates and elevates the other eight manuscripts of the corpus under a single strategic axis — the entry point to the full InsightBridge theoretical system.

The Strategy of Irreplaceability

A Holographic and Dynamic Thinking Approach to Structural Advantage, Initiative and Competitive Optionality in the AI Era

In a period of slower growth and cautious corporate investment, innovation spending has not stopped; it has concentrated among organizations with structural advantages. Dr. Tong Yin advances one integrated proposition: when an organization builds very high technological barriers over time and controls resources that are hard to replace, its strategic action is both an initiative-taking defense and a narrowing of rivals’ feasible choices — a modern economic expression of subduing the enemy without fighting. Ten chapters cover the concept and measurement of irreplaceability, public evidence from Nvidia, SpaceX and others, assessment tools, and a research agenda.

Table of Contents
  1. Preface and Abstract: why holographic and dynamic thinking is needed; how the method shapes the chapters; the connection to Sunzi; the method’s limits
  2. Chapter 1 — Problem and Theoretical Position: slower growth and concentrated innovation; core propositions; literature, method, and limits
